From the desire to pass on Okinawan folk music to the next generation, MIYAZAWA Kazufumi of the former THE BOOM (The Boom) spent 4 years visiting about 250 singers from 2012, and walked, and a 17-disc CD box “Okinawa Miyako He produced “The Complete Works of Yaeyama folk music Songs (1) Singing ~ Utakata ~” and donated it to public facilities in Japan and overseas as a not-for-sale item. This performance is the second following the “singing” performance held in 2018. It was scheduled for February 2021, but it was postponed due to the novel coronavirus. Under the composition and direction of Miyazawa, young talented singers perform the world of each “Sima Song” from folk songs handed down to the islands of the Ryukyu Arc.
