Born in 1988 in Naha City. Influenced by her grandfather when she was around 3 years old, she began singing folk songs. He began studying sanshin in earnest in 1994, and studied under MATSUDA Hirokazu in 1997. In 2000, she won the Grand Prix at an audition for a folk song singer produced by TERUYA Rinken, and made her CD debut with the album “Atcha Me Sho.” Studied under Nobuhito Noborikawa since 2003. In 2007, she won the Best Singing Award at the “Okinawa All Island Nakuni Tournament”. The 2nd album “No Singing Thread” was released in 2013. Currently, while they perform at various events, live shows, television/radio, etc. inside and outside the prefecture, they are also working on training younger generations by opening a folk song research institute.
