Profile
Yukito Shinryoshi, a singer from Yaeyama, who is also active as a vocalist of Parsha Club, and the one and only singer-songwriter who sings original songs in the Miyako Island dialect (Myakukutsu), SHIMOJI Isamu. Two people from sakishima hit it off and formed a unit in 2004. In addition to original songs as SAKISHIMA, they also incorporate their own original songs and Western music covers into their repertoire, and are developing live activities both inside and outside the prefecture. On January 20, 2017, the name was changed from “SAKISHIMA MEETING” to “THE SAKISHIMA meeting”.
