Profile
Born in 1969 in Hisamatsu, Miyako Island. An individualistic singer-songwriter who sings lyrics spelled out in the Miyako Island dialect “Myarkfts” on various genres of music such as rock, jazz, Latin, and reggae.
In 2002, she made her CD debut with the single “We (Banta) Are Born Island”. It attracted attention for its unique musicality that freely combines esoteric Myarkfoot, which sounds like a foreign language, with borderless sounds, and powerful vocal and guitar performances, both inside and outside the prefecture Of course, they are also expanding their range of activities, such as realizing live performances and CD sales in Korea and Taiwan.
