Once upon a time, Okinawa was a country called Ryukyu. Okinawa is also a song and dance island that has created its own performing arts while being influenced by China, Japan, and East Asia. This time, Ryukyu dance and classical music nurtured by the Ryukyu dynasty will be performed.

Ryukyu performing arts activities in progress - Ryukatsuchu
I want to create a place where you can experience traditions even if you're not in Okinawa. With that in mind, activities began in the midst of the 2020/10 infectious disease epidemic (COVID-19), when arts and culture activities were restricted. “It's not just the sea, it's not just Shuri Castle, it's Okinawa's treasure. Okinawa and tradition are disseminated on YouTube and stage activities based on the concept of “treasure without shape that seemed to disappear.” They are each working on stage activities for Sanshin (Three-string guitar), Ryukyu dance, and Ryukyu Koto.
