TOYOSATO Tomoyuki
A haiku poet. photographer. Born in 1976 in Okinawa Prefecture. Graduated from Okinawa Prefectural Koza High School (50th grade) in 1995. Graduated from Japan Photographic Art College in 1999/3. Haiku and photographs rooted in Okinawa continue to be published in seasonal collections and photo books.
Photo City Sagamihara 2017 Pro won the “Sagamihara Photography Rookie Encouragement Award” for the 2017 photo book “Okinawa One Blue” (2015 Miraisha).
2002 37th Times Art Encouragement Award (Literature Division, Haiku) by Toyosato Tomoyuki Shungyo's “Barcode Forest” (2002 Tenko Haiku Association).
Received the 2022 57th Times Art Awards Encouragement Award (photography category).
Currently, he is the representative of the “Moon and Sun (Tida)” haiku club. Haiku etc. were presented in “Haiku New Space.”
Other books include the photo book “Remains of the Battle of Okinawa” (2021 Shinnihon Shuppan), “How to Face Okinawa”, and “Living in Okinawa” (2022 Shinnihon Shuppan).
The photo book from the publishing company Okinawa Shobo is the 22nd book from “Tokyo Vector” (2008) to “Sonoda Eisa folk dance” (2025). The collection of phrases will be the 7th phrase collection in “Musical Notes of the Earth” (2015), “Notes of the Universe” (2020), “Uirusu Cage” (2021), “Mother” (2022), “Earth Relay,” and “Baby Orchestra.”
