August 1st is “Water Day” in Japan, and the 1st to 7th is “Water Week.” This year's theme is “Emergency Water Sources.” Various government and civic initiatives will be shared from the viewpoint of how to secure domestic water in the event of a disaster and how to help people close to them. While looking at the utilization of springs and wells that have been handed down to the community, I think about “water” in case of emergency. With gratitude for the blessings of nature and the wisdom of our ancestors, Majun Mizunugusuji Sabira (let's celebrate water together).
