This year marks 80 years since the end of World War II. In Okinawa, where fierce ground battles were fought, those scars are still deeply engraved, and one of them is the ruins of the Japanese 32nd Army headquarters bunker that lies underground at Shuri Castle and is still untouched.
Currently, along with the reconstruction of Shuri Castle, this bunker, which is currently being partially opened to the public in 2026, unfolds in a setting where “it will finally be opened to the public on 2028/8/15.” Through a slapstick drama with the people involved in Oshiro Melisa, No. 1 Peace Guide, and the ground-bound spirits who appeared there, I will happily unravel what exactly was happening at the 32 military bunker that led the Battle of Okinawa at the time, and what the Battle of Okinawa was, with the help of the play while hoping for peace.
