Until now, at the National Theatre Okinawa, the stage structure of 1719, which is the year Kumidō was born, has been restored, and the situation has been explored when No. 5 by Tamaki Asaka, the creator of Kumidō, premiered. In this research performance, referring to historical materials from 1838, the group dance “From the Field of Battle of the Okawa Enemy to Enemy Battle” will be performed in a form that is closer to the production from the Ryukyu Kingdom period. In this performance, which is performed by restoring the stage structure and costumes, a group dance with a deep sense of history, which can only be seen at the National Theatre Okinawa, will be performed.
