Okamoto Naofumi (Okamoto Naobumi)
Born in 1962 in Tokyo Metropolitan Prefecture. photographer. Since 1979, he has traveled back and forth between Tokyo and Okinawa. Graduated from Wako University Faculty of Humanities, Department of Art. Graduated from Tokyo General Photography College, Department 2. “Okinawa 01 Foreign Housing OFF BASE U.S. Family Housing,” “Okinawa 02 American Night in America,” and “Okinawa 03 SKY,” which highlights the specificity of Okinawa's sky, were published as photo books in 2024/7. The book “Okinawa Island Exploration Series” includes “Okinawa Island Architecture, Building and Living Records and Memories” (Okinawa Shoten Grand Prize/Second Grand Prize), “Okinawa Island Food and Lifestyle Records and Memories” (Okinawa Bookstore Grand Prize/Excellence Award), and “Remembering Okinawa: Exploring Okinawa Island Fixed Point” (Okinawa Bookstore Award/Grand Prize). Major solo exhibitions include “Foreign Housing Okamoto Naofumi's Photographs” (D&DEPARTMENT OKINAWA), “Okinawa 02 American Night in America” (Junkudo Bookstore Naha), “Okamoto Naofumi Photo Exhibition” (Hotel Anteroom Naha), and “Okinawa 03 SKY” (LuftShop) in 2024/7. Currently, they go back and forth between two bases in Okinawa and Tokyo, and continue to consistently produce works about Okinawa.

Hashimoto Tomofumi (Hashimoto Tomofumi)
Born in Higashihiroshima in 1982. A writer. Graduated from Gakushuin University Faculty of Law, Department of Political Science. I started going to Okinawa in 2013. His books include “Drive-In Exploration” (Chikuma Bunko), “People in the Naha City The First Makishi Public Market Neighborhood”, “Secondhand Bookstores in Tokyo,” “And the Market Continues in the Small Town of Naha” (above, book magazine company), and “Minnajima Revisited” (Kodansha) in the latest edition.
