On the morning of the same day, a collaboration event will be held between Rikka RIKA Science and the elemental anthropomorphic creation work “Element Movement: The World of Elements Understood by Anthropomorphism” by deep-fried chickens as a joint project with the element test to be held for the first time in Okinawa.

The theme “What kind of thing is a superheavy nucleus?”
The universe, the Earth, and humans are all made of elements. Each of these elements has a different character, and currently there are 118 types of elements discovered by humans. Among them, in the natural world, the one that shows its face for only a moment is the “superheavy core,” and “nihonium,” which was first named in Asia in 2016, is also one of the superheavy nuclei. At this event, you can enjoy the world of these elements along with explanations and illustrations from the lecturer.

Lecturer: Aritomo Yoshihiro (Professor, Department of Energy and Materials Science, Kindai University) /Fried Chicken (author of “The Element Movement: The World of Elements Understood by Anthropomorphism”)

Organizers: Periodic Table Club, Science Cafe Hiroba Rikka Rika
Co-organizer: NPO Kozamachi Shachu
Cooperation: Chemical Dojin, Institute for High Purity Chemistry

● What is an “elemental test”?
A certification test that questions knowledge related to the elements and the periodic table. There are 3 levels (middle school to general education level) for the first challenge, level 2 (science high school student level) for the first challenge, and level 1 for challenging super geeky problems, and level 1, which challenges super geeky problems, and this time, levels 2 and 3 will be carried out (this is the first time that an element test has been carried out in Okinawa).
