Rikka RIKA Science is a science cafe event where you can enjoy science casually. Outside of summer vacation, we plan to hold science cafe events once or twice a month.
The 19th session was “What ICT technology supports our lives?” Under the theme, 4 lecturers coming from outside the prefecture will explain each technique in an easy-to-understand manner.

Speaker: Tokunaga Yuichi (Professor, Department of Management Information, Kanazawa Institute of Technology, Faculty of Information Frontier Studies)
◎ Let's know how loud the sound is! The future of seeing the world through sound
Lecturer: Ueda Mari (Associate Professor, Department of Information Media Studies, Kanagawa Institute of Technology)
◎ What to do if the tip of the toilet breaks? The future of sewage management using ICT
Lecturer: Ishihara Susumu (Professor of Mathematical Systems Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Shizuoka University)
◎ How to fix problems with IoT home appliances and car software? Inconspicuous but important features are the key to the future
Lecturer: Kiyohara Ryozo (Professor, Department of Information Engineering, Kanagawa Institute of Technology)
