The Island Music Season is a music exchange event between Taiwan's Hualien and Taitung districts and Okinawa, which has been hosted by the Taitung Museum of Living and Aesthetics since 2014. It has been held every year alternately between Taiwan and Okinawa, but this year, which marks the 10th year, the event will be held in Okinawa.

On 9/16 (Sat) and 17 (Sun), in addition to holding live performances by Taiwanese and Okinawan artists under the 2 themes of “Traditional Rhythm - Traditional Rhythm” and “Okinawa Taiwan Pop - Okinawa and Taiwan Pop,” the Taiwan Marche will be held in front of the theater. Also, during the period from 9/13 to 17, school music exchanges, workshops, etc. will also be held.
