The comprehensive course “Thinking about Okinawa” is offered as a general course at Hosei University. It is a course for undergraduate university students, but general participation is also possible. Starting with Okinawan history, I think about Okinawa from a multifaceted perspective, such as music culture, images, popular history, immigrants and citizens, and the relationships between Japan and China.
