A documentary film documenting the festival “Isaiho,” which has been held once every 12 years in Kudakajima, Okinawa. Isaiho has continued for over 400 years since the Ryukyu Kingdom era. On Kudaka Island, which is known as the sacred island where Amamikiyo, the creator god of Ryukyu, landed, a goddess organization centered on the highest-ranking shrine maiden called Noro was inherited from the Ryukyu Kingdom period, and women born and raised on the island became goddesses, and festivals I'm going to perform it. The festival to become a goddess is Isaiho, but it wasn't last held in 1978 due to social changes and lack of successors. In this film, Isaiho, which was performed at the end of 78, was recorded on video with the cooperation of those involved. As a result, the state of Isaiho, which was practically the last, was completed in 79 as a work containing the preparation period from one month ago, the actual performance of the festival, and even the clean-up and annual event fubawak held after the festival. In order to preserve and inherit the valuable images recorded on the 16mm film, digitization of all films shot began through crowdfunding in 2021. As part of the report on the results, the audio track was adjusted, the 4:3 screen was cut back to 16:9, and subtitles such as credit titles and transcriptions of Isaiho's Kamihaku and modern translations were added “2022 Digital ・The “remake version” will be released in theaters.
