●Artists
DENPA
Based on the premise of “no concept”, we will delve into abstract expressions that give sensuous interpretation and pleasure to the receiver. He has developed world-wide activities such as solo exhibitions in NY and participation in global mural festivals.
HAYATO MACHIDA
After entering university, I went to NY to study art. In addition to working on welcome boards for many live events and mural paintings for facilities, he has been active in a wide range of activities such as designing labels for sake. He continues to create works with the theme of everyday ambivalent emotions.
NAMI
Works are presented at group exhibitions and art events held in various parts of the prefecture. From an adorable motif that combines a girl and a flower, it measures the surface of a sense that cannot be expressed in words.
Saiyuki
Obediently capturing everything that cannot be expressed in words, what is felt that cannot be expressed in form, and the light, sensations, and things that are felt on the skin captured in Okinawa, continue to draw paintings as places where viewers go around their thoughts
Hayase Izumi
Ryukyu Aizen and Weaving Studio “Ajin” cultivates Ryukyu indigo with pesticide-free and chemical-free fertilizers, cultivates fields with their own hands, and uses “colors connected to the soil” as materials. He collects cloth products interwoven with classical and ethnic patterns, and plants, and creates works that smell the earth.
CHIBANA Yukinari
Belongs to the Bingata Research Institute Somechika. A new work that incorporates elements of street culture, POP art, and subculture into Okinawa's traditional craft “Bingata.”
