記憶のうえに降り積もる埃を払い落としているのか、それとも積もりゆく砂塵ごと踏みしめて不可逆の地層をつくっているのかーいずれにしても代えがたいと思うのは、鋭いほどにまぶしく、抱きとめておくことさえままならなかったあの日、あの去った日々の光が、半透明のメディウムに突きたり、拡散して、明度を落としつつ混ざりあい、ぬるい灰色に収まること。埃に曇った窓を隔てて、触れられる温度で君がまだここにいること。

I don't know if I'm brushing away the dust falling on my memory, or I'm stepping on the dust and making layers to hide the scene of my past days.
In any case, The Light of Other Days, which was too bright to look at directly, hits the surface of oil, spreads out, and mixes with a decreasing brightness, turning into a warm gray-every single things of painting, to me, is as if I'm touching you through a dusty window.
It makes me feel like you are still here with me, nothing but to paint only can makes me feel like this.
