Profile
Born in Higashiya Yoshina, Uruma City. After the band was formed in 2000, they performed street live shows in Chatan and gained many fans. The 1st album “Appreciation” was released in 2001, limited to Okinawa, and attracted attention. The 2nd album “Street Story,” which was released in 2003, first appeared at number 1 on the Oricon chart. Since then, they have continued their activities centered around CD releases and live performances. The band was named after their hometown, Higashi Yakena (Higashi Yakena).
