Profile
Born in Tokyo in 1937. Journalist. Presided over the association of one person talking about Okinawa. From 1959 to 74, he lived in Okinawa under the rule of the US military as a journalist of the Ryukyu Shimpo (Okinawa newspaper) and NTV Okinawa correspondent. He won the TV Grand Prize Excellence Individual Award for productions such as the TV documentary “Himeyuri War History, State and Education to Ask Now”, “Island Divide/Okinawa Hatomajima Aji”. He is currently working on a video recording of the testimony of the Okinawan battles' experience. Through screenings and commentary of his works, the “Moriguchi Cafe” is held irregularly, which deeply explores the issues that the work has taken. It also started in Okinawa in September 2009.
