In 1988, the mixed punk band “New Est Model” led by Kei Nakagawa and the girls' garage band “Mescaline Drive” led by Eiko Itami joined the independent label “Soul Flower.” “Record” was established. In 1989, each label signed a contract with a major label, and by 1993, both released 10 albums and 11 singles. After that, both bands formed the Soul Flower Union in the form of simultaneous dissolution and integration.

In 1995, in the area affected by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, he started a delivery consolation live under the name of “Soul Flower Mononoke Summit” with all-acoustic instruments. Since then, the alternative mix rock band “Soul Flower Union” and the Jindong music unit “Soul Flower Mononoke Summit” have been carried out in parallel. Furthermore, since 2007, the “Soul Flower Acoustic Partisan,” a regional tour unit by three people who added pianist Rikuo to Nakagawa and Okuno, is also active.
