Profile
A comedy duo formed in Tokyo in 1995 by Gori (real name Teruya Toshiyuki) and Kawa-chan (real name, Hiroki Kawada), who were classmates in junior high school in Okinawa. In 1999, he made a break in the wake of his regular appearance in “Can I Laugh”, and since then he has been active in TV variety shows and comedy stages. He has also appeared in dramas and movies as an actor (NHK TV series novel “Chura-san”, etc. (Gori also starred and directed in the 2009 movie “Minami no Shima Frimun”). Since 2009, he has served as a PR role for the “Okinawa International Movie Festival” held in Okinawa every March, and has been appointed as a “Churashima Tourism Ambassador” because of that connection.
