Profile

Born in Koza (present Okinawa City) on December 8, 1950. In 71, he was involved in holding the 1st Okinawa Folk Festival. He formed Okinawa Folk Village and became the first village chief. He moved to Tokyo in 73, debuted in the album “SADOYAMA Yutaka” from Elec Records. He returned to the coast in 78 and pauses music activities, but in 95 “Du Chui Mney” was appointed to the CM of Awamori (Chrysanthemum dew brewery) and became a hot topic. In 1997, released the album “Goodbye Okinawa”. I actively live in various parts of Japan such as Kansai, Kanto, Shikoku and Hokkaido, and succeeded in NY PEACE tour in May 2004.
