Born in Kadena Town, Okinawa Prefecture in 1954.
Okinawan folk music song female singer. Record debut at 9 years old.
Participated in Ryuichi Sakamoto's unit since 86. Participated in “NENEZ” as a leader since 90 years. After leaving the end of 1995, he started solo activities with Nenez producer SAHARA Kazuya. The album “Bridge Over the Heaven” (2001) and “The Around Life” (2008) are highly appreciated, and the self-written lullaby “Dojin” is covered by many singers and is loved nationwide. The activities on stage also range from collaboration performances with Bunraku dolls. Even though he lost his father in an accident in the base at the age of 3, he lives near the base and continues to complain of the respect of peace and the misery of war through songs. One of her most family work is her song, Warabigami, covered by numerous artists and cherished by people from all over. She also cam to be well-know not just for her style of singing, but also her voice itself when scientists and professors in the field unknown their analysis that “Ms. Koja's voice has both the flux and frequency in her vocal variations that are know to soothe and positively stimulate the listener.”
