Nakamura Itsuo

Profile

In 1997, he was taught Uta Sanshin (Three-string guitar) by his father, Nakamura Isao, and then studied under Ryukyuan classical music Nomura School Preservation Association Higa Yasuharu. The 1st Nakamura Itsuo solo performance was held in 2015. Nakamura Itsuo Solo Collection (CD3 title) was released in the same year. Received the Okinawa Times Art Award in the Ryukyuan classical music category Encouragement Award in 2017. In the same year, she performed at the “13th Ryukyu Classical Performing Arts: Voice and Dance Technique” hosted by Kioi Hall. In addition, they perform on many stages inside and outside the prefecture, starting with performances hosted by the National Theatre Okinawa. Completed the Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts Graduate School of Music and Art, majoring in performing arts, Ryukyuan classical music. A first-year graduate of the National Theatre Okinawa Gumi Dance Training (Successor Training).
