Profile
From the age of 3, studied under his mother, Fusako Shida, who is a Ryukyu dancer. Completed Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts. Received the Agency for Cultural Affairs New Face Award at Maki no Kai, the first solemnary performance of the 2005 Agency for Cultural Affairs.
He won the 2008 Okinawa Times Art Selection Award, the 2009 Agency for Cultural Affairs Arts Festival Excellence Award, and the 2015 Grand Prize.
Currently, Okinawa Times Traditional Performing Arts Selection Committee, a traditional Ryukyu Dance Preservation Association. While performing both domestically and internationally, based on classical dance, he is ambitious to collaborate with other genres and Ryukyu dance. He was the second head family of Ryukyu dance heavy dance school.
