Profile
Since childhood, he studied under his mother, Fusako Shida. He completed his master's program at the Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts of Art Graduate School of Music and Art, and became famous as the Juodoryu II family in 2007. In addition to receiving the Agency for Cultural Affairs Art Festival Rookie Award in 2005, the same excellence award in 2009, and the same grand prize in 2015 for the Ryukyu dance “Maki no Kai,” he also received the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award in 2022.
