Profile
Born in 1961 in Gushikawa (now Uruma City). In 1972, they made their major debut with the group “Finger 5,” which was formed by 5 siblings, and had a big break with the hit “Private Class” in the following year, 73. Akira, who was 12 years old at the time, was active as the main vocalist. After Finger 5 disbanded in 1978, they stayed away from the major scene for a while, but they resumed their musical activities in earnest in 2002. Currently, in addition to solo performances, they are also performing live activities on the unit “S4,” which was formed with Toshio Egi, Shinya Aizaki, and Takamichi from Hunter.
