In 1989, he formed Compostela with Masayoshi Shinoda and Kanji Nakao. Since then, while participating in many bands and units, he has participated in many recordings and live performances as a tubaist and recorder player in the valuable popular music scene. It is estimated that there are at least 300 pieces, and in recent years they have been doing about 200 live performances per year and about 100 curry rice per year.
As a unique arranger, he has worked on music such as movies, animation, and commercials. He has a reputation for ambient sounds and beautiful melodies that mix raw instruments and electronic sounds. In 2010, he released an album “2009 — Sekishima Takuro Video Music Collection”, which collected soundtracks.
