Profile
Born in Okinawa in the 1960s. They formed the band “Feshi” while belonging to the Okinawan theater company “Shochiku Radical Group” and performed hits such as “LADY” and “One Night of Tears at Shuri Castle.” After Fesi's activities were suspended, they formed the unit “Yonamine Shokai” with vocalist ◎Tashi (Nijumaru Tashi) and dancer Atsuonia Uecino in 2002 (disbanded in 2019/5).
Currently, he is a solo artist and is developing live activities at live houses in the prefecture and Okinawan food restaurant outside the prefecture. The live style of “Half Talk, Half Song,” where they play Sanshin (Three-string guitar) and Ukulele while exchanging poisonous language and well-paced talk, is popular. The slogan is “Low Tension for Ground Sleek.”
