Profile

Born in Urasoe City, Okinawa Prefecture in 1985/1. After working under the name “Fujimoto Maki,” activities began as “Natsumi Maki” in the fall of 2025. An artist who sings a wide range of songs, from pop music to pop songs, including Okinawan folk music, with a clear voice.

From an early age, he became familiar with Okinawa Prefecture folk songs due to the influence of his parents and the Okinawa Kenjinkai, and after graduating from Kansai University, while working as a company labourer, he began full-scale musical activities as an Okinawa Sanshin (Three-string guitar) artist in 2016. Received a teacher's license and Grand Prix at the Ryukyu Folk Song Tradition Association's folk song competition in 2021. As an original album, they released “Okinawa,” “Okinawa Country Song,” and “Okinawa Country Song,” which included Okinawan music and original songs. The first original song “Awamori Celebration Song” was used as the ending song for “A Lunch” broadcast by RBC, and the theme song for the Okinawan specialty “Fukusuke's Tamagoyaki” will also be offered in 2025. Currently based on the main island of Okinawa, they are performing live activities inside and outside the prefecture.
