Born in 1969 Shiraho Ishigaki Island. He grew up surrounded by a favorite family of Oa Sanshin since childhood. Oshima Matsu, the late grandfather, was called 'hibari' because he had a good voice and was good at utasanshin, and it became the name of the Oshima family.
After graduating from high school, he went to Tokyo and started working as a solo musician in Tokyo. Released the debut album “Hokufu Nanwind” in 1993. He singes folk songs from the islands of Okinawa, including Yaeyama, where he came from, and original songs played on Sanshin (Three-string guitar), and performs performances in various places in Japan and abroad. I have a deep exchange with BEGIN who is a high school classmate and SINARA Yukito who is a senior.

He started his career as a solo musician in 1993 in Tokyo, releasing his debug album, Nishi Kaji Hai Kaji. he has expanded his musical activities from the Yaeyama Islands where he hails from, to Okinawa and Miyako Islands, and through hout Japan and abroad. he writes and sings his own songs as well as various shima-uta, or 'songs of the islands, ' that have bean passed down for generations in the islands within Okinawa. The three-stringed Okinawan instrument, the sanshin, is is base as he performance solo on stage. he continue to allure fans from all backgrounds.
