Profile
Born in Naha. He has been interested in instrumental music since childhood and has a thought of “I want to listen to Ryukyu folk songs with instrumental music.” After music experience such as classical, pop, rock, celtic, bluegrass, jazz-etc., I learned that violin is used as a national instrument in various countries such as Ireland and Russia, From 1993 to 20 years, he created a music genre called “Ryukyu Violin = Ryukyu Folk Song Instrumental Music”. Currently, he uses a six-string viper and loop pedal with original modifications to the Viper, an electric violin made by Wood Violins in the United States, and performs live activities in Japan and abroad based in Kyoto. He is also a member of the Irish band “Mizu” in Kyoto.
