Born as a third child and second daughter in Osato Village (now Nanjo City), she was born as a third child and second daughter to a father who is full of chivalrous spirit and a mother who is always cheerful, and who is good at cooking, and grows up freely, strong, and big.
Studied under Shiroma Matsuyasu, the teacher of the Ryukyu National Folk Song Association.
Received the 2012 Ryukyu National Folk Song Association Folk Song Singing Award.
Acquired a teacher's license from the Ryukyu National Folk Song Association in 2013.
