Profile
A jazzpianist born in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture in 1949. He started jazzing while studying at National Sound University and made his professional debut in 1970 with WATANABE Sadao quintet. He has been performing live activities both in Japan and abroad, and has also participated in the world tour of Elvin Jones and Ray Anderson. He also has a lot of film music. From 2010, the trio “FIT!” with Takashi Seo (b) and Kazutetsu Takemura (dr) even activity.
