Profile
Born in Tokyo in 1958. He started playing trumpets in the second year of junior high school and has been affiliated with an amateur big band and citizen orchestra in Chiba Prefecture since two years of high school In college, he performed in big bands such as Meiji University, Nihon University, Chiba Institute of Technology, and Hosei University. In 1980, he won the Excellence Soloist Award at the 12th Yamano Big Band Contest organized by Ginza Yamano Instruments.
After graduating from college, he joined several amateur big bands beside the salaried worker life and performed combo activities in the Shonan area. He started playing at a live house in Naha city from October 2010 and moved to Naha in May of the following year. Currently based in Naha, he is performing as a jazz-trumpet player.
