Profile

Nomura-ryu classical music and Yara-ryu Okinawan folk music Kichieikai is the third generation Iemoto.
He studied singing Sanshin (Three-string guitar) from Nishimei, the second head of the Kichieikai, and Ryukyu music master, Fukuhara Asaki, and dance under Fukuhara Kyoko (all 3 were high students of the first Kiekai chairman, Matayoshi Yoshiakino village style landlord).
While putting effort into inheriting techniques and mentality inherited from the great masters, he also has a face as a Yara Sansenya craftsman while performing activities both inside and outside of the prefecture.

In 2003, the album “Ginoza Golden Heart,” which is reminiscent of the origin of Ryukyu folk songs, was released and became a hot topic. He also produced the talented folk song group “Garaman Mito,” which is led by his apprentice ARAGAKI Mutsumi, and released his self-composed “Hanshin Doy/Ginoza Kota” as a single by Garaman Bido.
