Profile
Born in 1984 in Ishigaki Island. He studied Sanshin (Three-string guitar) from an early age, and after graduating from high school he went to Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts and studied in Ryukyuan classical music Sanshin (Three-string guitar) Division. After graduating from university, he has performed performances both in and outside the prefecture, including Ryukyuan classical music, folk song shows, and Shimaua live performances. He also appeared in Blue Note in New York in 2011. In 2008, he won the composition award in the “East-West Oral Explanation” in 2008 and the “Birth Festival” award in 2009.
