Profile
Born in Uruma City. He studied Ryukyu Dance from an early age, and started Sanshin by self-taught while studying in high school. He debuted as the main vocal of Okinawan pop music unit “Churaimi” in 2000. After graduating Churaimi in 2005, he performed live activities in various parts of Okinawa Prefecture as a solo singer “Kozue”. In August 2014, the artist name was changed to “Kozue Hirara”. Based on Okinawan pops, it is attracting attention with its unique live performance that interwoven folk songs, Ryukyu dance, and Eisa folk dance.
