Profile
Country rock music singer and singer-songwriter from Sashiki, Nanjo-shi and raised in Urasoe. Activities began under the name “Taka-Chan (Taka-Chan)” in 2006, and the name was changed to “Banjo Ai” from 2013/2. She is the first female banjo player in Okinawa, and is active in a wide range of genres such as country rock, Shimauta (Okinawan music), Hawaiian, and bluegrass. The artist name “Banjo Ai” was named after a song and a desire to convey love to people all over the world with the instrument banjo, which he loves so much. As the vocalist of the Hawaiian band Kailua (Kailua), they also perform live performances at beer gardens all over the prefecture.
