Profile
Born in Tokyo. He lived in Yaeyama for 10 years and studied Uta Sanshin (Three-string guitar) at the Yaeyama old folk music Amuro Ryu Kyowakai. In 2007, it won the highest award at the Yaeyama Classical Music Competition. Since returning to Kyoto in 2012, they have been performing live activities centered around Yaeyama folk music, Okinawan pop music, and original songs based in Tokyo.
From 2018/7, the artist name was changed from “Kusanagi Kimi” to “KUSANAGI Kimi.”
