Born in Motobu Town Machiyancha in 1935. From the age of 15, he served as the provincial district of Motobutani Tea Eisa folk dance and taught by Tsunami Tsunami, Masahito TOKAWA, and Tomoki FUKUHARA. One of Okinawa's leading singers, still active in the forefront of the folk song world.
