Profile
American, born in 1969 in Naha and raised in Koza. When I was 22, I studied in the US and the UK for a year and a half and learned English. I first came into contact Uchina Sanshin (Three-string guitar) at age 24, and began studying for Uchinaguchi in earnest. He is taught Uchinaguchi by the famous Okinawan actor, Maki Shiyasu Tadashi. Currently, inside and outside Uchina the prefecture, they are holding Uchinaguchi courses and live performances of Okinawan folk music.
