Profile
Brothers Shima utai unit by his older brother Michi from Shiraho ISHIGAKIJIMA and his younger brother Hiroya. Folk songs and play songs of Ishigaki Island, Okinawan folk music, as well as songs that incorporate modern taste are also popular. He has an academic background in completing the graduate school at Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts, and also participated in traditional performing arts performances both inside and outside of the prefecture, and overseas Ryukyu performing arts, and is also attracting attention as a young demonstrator. In 2010, he participated in the album “Biggin's Shimauta (Okinawan music) ~ Omototakeo 3~” by local Ishigakijima senior artist BEGIN with Sanshin (Three-string guitar), Flute, Taiko, and Chorus. In the new dance 'Montoku no Okimi was born,' he also performed with Tamasaburo BANDO, so he was trusted by various worlds.
