Born in Ota Ward, Tokyo in 1950. He formed a band that makes original songs from junior high school, and in college he started working as a singer-songwriter. In 1973, she debuted in “The Heroine of the Skyscrapers” produced by Takashi Matsumoto, who just dissolved Happy Endo. After that, he participated in the works of Caramel Mama and Moonrider, and presented albums in collaboration with Y.M.O., and motivated activities. Then, by 99, he released more than 20 albums including the best series, and since 2001, it continued to release cover albums that arranged Western standard songs such as jazz and bossa nova. In June 2011, the original album “SMILE & YES”, including “Sakura no Hana” released in March, was released. Typical hits such as “Monroe Walk” and “Make me a slow boogie”. He is the leading singer of J-POP for adults. It also offers more than 100 songs to others.
