Profile
Born in Higashi-son, Okinawa Prefecture on March 25, 1988. I was interested in Okinawa music since childhood and studied Sanshin from my mother when I was 5 years old. While enrolled in Haebaru High School, he also studied Ryukyu instruments such as Ryubue, Kokyu, and Shima-taiko drums by himself. With the motto of “Okinawa's culture to the next generation”, we add a unique band arrangement to Okinawan Shimauta (Okinawan music) and perform live activities. In addition to the solo activities of SHIROMA Ryuta, live sessions with other musicians (not only in the prefecture, but also outside the prefecture and overseas artists), live support, participation in recording, and providing music · Active in various areas, such as inside and outside the prefecture. The number of live performances per year exceeds about 120. Aria Asia Sanshin (Three-string guitar).
