Profile

Born in 1968 in Kohama Island. Participated in the art unit “I・N・U” in Tokyo, where he started a stage activity to read his own poems. After graduation, he returned to Kohama Island and conducts a wide range of activities rooted in the region and culture, such as offering songs and poems to artists, and starting the “millet makuai-nago-juku” based on a family's inn. He performed a modern edition dance “Ama Wari of Kepotaka” created with children in Katsuren Town and contributed to local development. He also achieved results in the modern edition of “Big Voyage Rekios” by children in the prefecture. Currently, he also serves as Naha City Art Director and producer of National Theatre Okinawa.
