Profile
Born in 1978 in Katsuren Heishikiya, Uruma City. A wheelchair singer with “spinal muscular atrophy,” a progressive intractable disease in which muscles gradually weaken from birth. In 1994, they formed the band “niy-s” (Nice) together with Naoki Nishihira and Yumitsu Jahana, who also had advanced intractable diseases, and performed in numerous concerts and commercials. Began working as a solo artist in 2007. Based on their experiences so far, they have given lectures and live performances in various places on the theme of “living seriously.”
