In 2009/06, the song Sanshin (Three-string guitar) unit was formed by “Take” and “Kiyo,” who studied under Nagama Takao, the second generation of the Kino-ryu Sanshin (Three-string guitar) Iemoto. With a repertoire of folk songs from the Okinawa region in general, such as Ryukyu folk songs, Yaeyama folk music, and Miyako folk songs, they are active mainly in live performances at Okinawan izakayas centered around Motosumiyoshi, Kawasaki, and Yokohama.
