Profile
Born in Yonaguni Island in 1985. He singed folk songs and enka from an early age, and won numerous awards at island festivals and Sunkani tournaments. After enrolling in Yaeyama Shoko and Industry High School, he joined the local performing arts department and participated in national competitions. He won the Rookie Award and Excellence Award for Yaeyama old folk music.
Since January 2004, he has been a member of Nenez. Since he left Nenez in July 2009, he has been performing live activities both inside and outside the prefecture as a solo folk song singer.
