In 2002, they formed the band “Totem” with indigenous members. As the main singer, Suming has led the band mainly by singing loudly while playing acoustic guitar, and also writing and composing lyrics. Meanwhile, in addition to musical activities, he won the Best Newcomer Award for the movie “Jumping Lattice,” which he starred in, and also appeared in the documentary film “Totem Song for Home” by photographer Wakagi Shingo. When “Totem” was shown in Japan, live talk shows were held in various places, and it was picked up by the media.
She debuted as a solo artist in 2010. In addition to attracting an audience of over 1,500 people for solo performances held in Taiwan, he also experienced expeditions to America, Canada, France, etc. Also, in 2011, it received the Golden Melody Award, which can be said to be Taiwan's Grammy, and its acclaim and popularity within Taiwan is remarkable.

The songs he creates value for the unique melodies and songs that the indigenous people have taken over, and the lyric world often depicts the scenery of his hometown and his longing for his family. As a life's work, in order to protect the culture of indigenous folk songs, dances, handicrafts, words, etc., they place great importance on their identity as an indigenous people, such as carrying out activities aimed at children in the village and working as a temporary lecturer at a university.
