Profile
Leader TERUYA Rinken was formed in 1977. The company established a new musical style called “Okinawa Pop”, which skillfully combines traditional Okinawan instruments such as Sanshin (Three-string guitar) and Shima Taiko and band sounds. Since the 90s, he has spread its activities outside the prefecture, spreading not only sound but also Okinawan culture “words and traditional performing arts” all over the world. All the original songs are created and arranged by Ken Hayashi, and the front men of the Eisa folk dance style and the rare diva UEHARA Tomoko sing brilliantly. He is also known for producing many popular entertainers and musicians such as Mitsuru TAMAKI, Hayato FUJIKI, Masaaki UECHI (Parsia Club), Kazunari UECHI, and TINGARA.
